Compressed Air Water Removal

Looking for some DIY ideas on what people have used or built to remove water from there shop air system. I know about the condecent filters etc..but was looking for some DIY type setups?

I have a 60 gal upright IR compressor and I would like to remove most of the water before the tank if possible.

Franzinators (sp?), ac condensors with fans, coils in buckets of ice, ect...
