don't worry, I've gone through the search option a few times for this.
I was wondering if some of you could help me out? I have '00 ZR2
(5" sus lift, 33s, custom sliders & bumper). I have a cap on it now, but am seriously leaning towards the canback instead. I don't want to trash the cap on the trail and have to fix it. plus the canback will be more useful IMO.
could anyone please post a pic of any brand (preferably compact truck) with the canback on it? I've seen a few sweet pics on here with them, but would like a few more to help make the final decision. thanks :smokin:
p.s. - the hopefully near future plans for it will be SFA!

thanks for the quick response Chris.
do most of the late model trucks (like the TRD pictured) have that noticable gap between the front of the canback and the cab?
how durable are the windows? I've been leaning towards no windows, thought it might look a little better.
what about security issues with it? I have a custom spare carrier and hi-lift jack, plus tools and parts in the bed.
sorry about all the questions. sweet lookin toy (red one)though :smokin:

Windows are a bad idea, they simply don't look nice for very long. There is no security at all on a soft top, just too easy to cut open. The gap between the cab and top is noticeable on the Tacoma's but most other rigs have a rear window that is more vertical reducing the gap.
Just a thought, not sure how much room you need, but I like my Extang vinyl tonneau cover. It was cheap, hides the spare tire and tools and keeps the bed clean. It also only takes minutes to completely remove. It also allows for perfect vision.

good idea, but I need a "cap". my spare carrier holds the tire near vertical. plus the more important reason is so my dog can stand up and move around ;)
:grinpimp:
Well, I certainly wouldn't recomend the tonneau for a dog.:D :D
