Ok so I've got TG 3 springs with their sas kit on an 89 frame. I mounted the springs as directed and drilled and installed the sleeve as instructed in the sas instructions. With the chassis mounted, engine and drivetrain moved back 6 inchs and a 100 lb weight on the front and me (220 lbs) sitting on the rear the front shackle won't swing back like it should be or is on my 85 full body runner. So I was wondering if most of you that have already built had to move your shackle fwd an inch or so and maybe up to lose some lift like I'd like to.

the springs are brand new and they will take actual trail beating to get them to start flattening out. if you want to wear them in quick, take the bottom leaf out, run a trail, the put it back. i put in brand new springs today and when i jumped up and down on it, it was stiff as a board.
