350 swap

i have a 1998 tacoma i am doing a 350 swap to i was wondering what all adapters i need to get it going. i ordered the engine mounts oil pan but im not sure what else i need and also i was wondering if i can use my stock radiator out of my yota with the 350 and run dual electric fans or would the 350 be to much. thnaks Mike.

i just dont understand why you would put a chevy in a toyota? y not a toyota in a toyota? but if your guna stick with the chevy i would reccomend a different radaitor

reliability i suppose. the damn thing last forever. 300k and still going strong. you can still do em cheap just gotta do a little research.all aluminium lexus 4.0 with wiring and harness $600.

got he motor in last night n fired her up fired up like a champ. ran great gotta do a few more things n itllbe done

what tranny should i use????? and transfer case.

and do u all think a 700r4 and np205 will fit under there. without much trouble???

and i was wonderin what i would have to do to make my crossmember still work.

and also one more question how would i do the steering. power steering??

oo wait sry but onemore question do u think i would beable to to still have someway to make my stock abs work without the wireing harness??

I did a 350 engine th350/np203 combo in my pickup and it all fits in there much better than the 22re/w56 stuff I took out.

3. makes 260hp, 310ftlbs, and is is reliable.
4. will last two to three times as long as a chevy.
5. it's toyota.
6. not many other people can do it so therefore it makes me better than you:flipoff2:
7. motor mounts were super easy like 15minutes per side.
8. E-throttle, wont die on offcamber stuff, works at all elevations, no tuning required.
9. you can run all toyota drivetrain cheaper then you can adapt chevy junk to it.
10. and if you ran chevy junk its super heavy and bulky where as a toyota don't have all kinds of room for that.
11. why would you run a cable setup 4speed gearbox? when you can just not exert any energy and drive you TOYOTA with stock gear!
12. dude seriously the list goes on and i could sit here all night, and y are you knocking on the toyota v8 swap you dont know shit!

ok i must of misunderstood you, i don't like the fact of putting a chevy motor in a toyota hints the tundra v8 in a small toyota pickup(picture above). i'm sorry! and if your saying all toyota im right there with you. i first thought you were a chevy nut. im currently doing a 4.0 lexus swap in a toyota fj40(instead of a chevy like EVERYONE else). and will be doing three more 4.0 swaps here shortly in regular toyota pickups. and another tundra in a t-100 and currently a tundra in a 51 willys. yes i'm a toyota fanatic! i wish everything had a toyota in it. hell before to long ill put a toyota in a hot rod thatd be:smokin: .

the reason why i did the swap is bc i blew my yota engine and it was cheaper to put sa 350 in than another toyota engine.. but i love the engines and trucks alot. wouldnt trade one for another vehicle

dude trust me do a 4.0 lexus instead of the 3.4 or the 4.7 its eaiser and cheaper.
