I just ordered this cheap tubing bender from HF. After I ordered it, I looked at the online manual and am not sure I gonna be able to use it or not. I am going to be bending 1 1/2" Hrew round tubing for my front clip and cage. I know its cheap, but was just thinking I could get away with using it on my rig before breaking it. I called the HF store in Tulsa, and the guy said it should work, but wouldnt trust it for a long time. let me know what you guys think. Can I make it work? Fab it someway? Thanks.

It won't work at all. The max capacity is 1/4" x 2" is for flat stock. It won't do tubing at all. Its made for bending flat stock, and small solid stock.

And don't get the pipe bender they sell either, as it won't bend your tubing.

sorry to say it but what he said.

that could be a very useful fab tool but not for bending tube.

Damn.... OK cancelled that order.

You guys have any ideas for options for bending, with about a $150 budget?

find someone local with a bender??? or maybe a local shop that will do it for a small fee per bend?

Before I could afford a bender I found a guy that builds stock car chassis and had him bend my tube. Wasn't very expensive. With this being the start of racing season you might have to wait awhile however.
