This is on my buddies Jeep, here's the scenario.

95 YJ, D60 rear, SYE, etc, etc, etc.


Anyway, he was driving, and the whole driveshaft vibrated "apart". Seriously! The driveshaft came apart at the slip, and f-d it up big time. New driveshaft is already here.

We thought it might be the rear end, so we took it apart, and check the R&P and everything checked out ok.

We did find that the tranny mount is trash, but I wouldn't think it would cause that much damage due to vibration. Is that wrong?

Any ideas?
