First off - 9" is too damn tall for an EB.

Secondly - they'll ride like shit. You may as well weld in a piece of 2x4 tubing for that kind of height, and get about the same amount of flex.

In short - Superlift sucks ass.

i had a set on a bronco 2 with efi 351 c4 and eb dana 44 they were stiff the coils are the same hight as the early bronco deaver springs i replaced them with the 9'' coils compressed none with the weight of the vehicle the deaver springs flexed great i now have the 9'' coils on a f-150 and it has decent compression but the droop is not very good
i asked skyjacker why so stiff they said that if they were softer they would bow out bad so i guess you give up flex for lift if thats what you want go for it

Since the skyjacker coils are too stiff; what springs should i run? I am running a 38.5 bogger and i do like to have tire clearance so it doesent rub anything. The fenders are chopped up( thinks to the guy that had it before); and this thing will never see the street. I have looked into the cage coils but i wanted to know what all is out there and what will work the best. It will be used for mainly trails and some rocks; maybe alittle bit of mud but not much cause i have kinda out grown that shit.

I ran Skyjacker coils on a previous project,I ran into the coils losing their height after a few months of hard use.I switched out to Superlift 9" coils and did some reworking of suspension bushings, steering and shocks and ended up using limiting straps to control complete over-extension at full droop. They were on a '77 F-150 and the ride wasn't actually bad,it was firm. But,If you are looking for better ride ,maybe look into coilovers and a 3 or 4 link setup.
I've used coil setups front and rear ranging from 6" to custom 15" coils and thus far,I've liked the ride and control when all other components are modified to work together with the added height and operating angles.
