I know Glenn is on the board now and them and many of you know him very well. Glenn's a member of POR.

Glenn stopped to help us Sunday morning. We had lost the PS on one of our rigs and we were outa ps fluid. Glenn offered us all he had and wouldn't accept a nickle for it!

Thanks Glenn, I owe you some  on the next run!

That is the way it should be, but unfortunately not always so, went wheelin this weekend with a group of friends, my buddy broke a front axle shaft, another 'friend' had FOUR spares and would not help a brotha out, not even when offered to trade him another (which was at home) + $100. Needless to say, we won't be wheelin with that good buddy anymore.

That sucks! You gotta choose your friends better! I'm with you, I'd kick that "good buddy" to the curb:mad:

How:rainbow: is that? When I broke, my friend Craig (the Gerbel) pitched in and gave me a joint, Jeremy (Imuzme) gave me the C clips and a stub, someone I did not know gave me the spindle seals and wiched me out of the box, Kenny (Gilligan) pulled up his rig for lights and supplied some rags, and someone else offered me a spindle. Then they all pitched in to help fix it. When the steering arm bolts sheered off, I had more help than I could ever use. Give this to your "FRIEND" for me....:flipoff:

No kidding. A guy I work with was in Alaske in a rental car when he found himself in a snow bank. By the time he opened his door, three other cars had stopped and were already pushing him out. He barely had time to waive to say thank you before they left.
When he got into town he stopped in a little shop and remarked to the little ol lady behind the counter how nice everybody here was. She said most folks don't actually like the out of towners, but they know they will end up needing the same help sooner or later too so they just stop and help everybody.

Man you can actully call him a buddy? HE had the parts and wouldn't help out?

If someone was broke in my group. I would to what ever I could to help him off the trail. or to get them ready for the trail.

Playin at Hollister yesterday. I lost my T-case. my buddies help me down the hill and strapped me into town. while waiting for the tow truck we stoped for pizza and beer. They wouldn't let me kick in any cash for the grub.

after we got my sh!t home. they were there helping me get the T-case out. I have to say. That Is what wheelin' buddies are all about!

I sure wish I could have been around to get greasy and help out :D

Instead I went camping with Sara and we took along a friend of hers and her son. They had never ever been camping before.

If it weren't for Well Done Mans club camping down at Boards crossing we would not have had a spot to camp that night.

Mark told us to join their little tent city they had.

Thanks

Yep, we got alot more help from people we barely knew than we did from this fucker, not to mention my buddy that broke (to remain nameless until he decides to post) had worked all week on this fuckers rig to get it ready for the trip. Then he pulls this shit, not to mention sticking us with 3 nights of campground fees when we only camped one night. Oh well, it won't happen again, we still had a good time and we still got him out with one wheel drive and a strap.
