I'm in need of a new compressor. My 30 year old Sears 1/2hp isn't doing it. It took me like 3 hours to change tires on my 8 lug ford.
I want a 60 gal 220V model, but I have no extra space or any extra break positions in my box, so I am forced to get a large 120V job on wheels, vertical is preferred, since it makes storing it easier (i think).. I was looking at these two (lowes/ho-depot) compressors:
http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=215921-71025-KLA1883054&lpage=none
** the home depot link no worky, but it is their 26 gal two hp vertical compressor for #79
it looks like the Kobalt lowe's one has a little bigger tank and flows a little more air.
If anyone knows any better deals, I am open to anything, I just don't want some junk oil-less deal. My cousin had a sears that blew the piston more than once....
My dad has an emglo compressor that works awesome, but I don't believe you can still buy those (after looking, DeWalt purchased them, and they are all junk oil-less ones now)
