: Hole in my head...

Well I worked on the truck all day yesterday. While cleaning the head to get it ready to come out without getting crap all over the place I found a spring clip hiding under the cam. Upon removing this I found a hole about the size of a quarter. So I found where the water was coming from. I took the head out flipped it over and a small 10mm bolt fell out of the hole. So I just flushed $350 down the toilet. But wait it gets better. Since I have an extra head that had just been resurfaced I figured I would just take out the new valves from the bad head and put them in the old one. Well upon removing the first intake valve I noticed it was bent and the vavle guid had broken. This was the original problem. I though I had thrown a rod or something but looking in the block everythign looks great. So after all this it was just a vavle guide. :rasta:

At least I can say I learned more than I ever wanted to about removing, rebuilding and installing an engine into a toy.
