: A change at Marlin Crawler

It's with a sad heart that I announce that I am no longer with Marlin Crawler. Due to financial problems at the shop it has come to the point where Marlin needed to make some downsizing changes. It was an honor and a priviledge for me to work for Marlin and to serve each and everyone of you. Perhaps if Marlin restructures and finds himself in need and can afford a business Manager I will return. I hope I've been and asset to you as customers and who knows maybe our paths will cross again. I must now head out on a search where I can possibly benefit another company.

Marlin I wish you the very best of everything and may you prosper in every aspect of your life.

Afford doesn't neccessarily have anything to do with it. Most geniuses have no idea how to run a business, so they have to bring in outside help. Eventually, with the correct employees in place, the business will start to run itself, allowing the business manager to become fat that can be trimmed. If the business flutters, or experiences growing pains again, outside help can always be brought in.

Or Marlin may need to target his payroll towards an immediate need like production, or installation.

Ron, you say he is in finacial problems, i thought that since he hired you his business has been on the up and up. I hope this doesnt mean that Marlin is gonna go belly up :( . but any way it sounds liek you really turned that company around as far as Customer Service is concerned

No I don't think Marlin will go belly up. He may go in a different direction. Yes we got his customer service whipped into better shape but there are things behind the scenes that are beyond Marlin's control that have required him to do some serious decision making for his company. I don't hold even one shread of blame or annamosity towards Marlin because he was a great guy to work for and I just want him to be successful. And if that requires letting me go to release some finances so be it. I'm just glad I had the opportunity to serve you guys and Marlin.

 this is entirely incorrect. We have had Advanced Adapters make our adapter plates solely for Marlin Crawler for going on 7 years now. We have not lost our contract with AA and do not intend to.
We are very happy with the quality adapters, specifically for us, from AA. And although Inchworm's Adapters are very nice as well, we have no intentions for a contract with them.

May I ask where you heard that from? Just curious :smokin:

Thanks Ron for the memories and making the day pass quicker at the shop! Best of wishes to you and your endeavors. Always remember: Where ever you go, there you are.

Regards,
BigMike

What was Marlin thinking? Fire the dude who got things done to free up money? Thats like chopping off your dick & selling it to afford a hooker. ( Maybe a bad analogy, wasnt referring to you as a dick, ron, but seems the decision was counterproductive. )
