I AM POSTING FOR A FRIEND.....DO NOT PM ME. THANKYOU:
------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a clear title, 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ), Laredo, with a 5.2-liter (318 cubic inch) V8, 249-transfer case, and an automatic transmission completely ready to go. I have owned this jeep for a little over two years and I bought it from a family friend who had it since it was almost new. The past owned always had it serviced at the dealership and I have most of the recites. I also have most of the recites from the work that I had done to it. I bought this jeep originally but I ended up using it mostly as a commuter to Alameda and back.
A highlight of this jeep is it has new engine was installed in late spring/early summer of 2006. The engine has 22,xxx miles while the odometer has 208,xxx miles on it. There was nothing wrong with the other motor ran very strong but it had some water ingested into it. Jeep specialist in Antelope, CA, did the engine swap. The engine is all stock (225 hp, 300 torque) except it has I high flow cat and a Delta 40 series flow master which gives it a nice throaty sound from the outside, but inside there is no sign of it having modified exhaust.
Transmission
-Automatic
-Three speed plus overdrive
-was replaced by the old owner.
Suspension
-Rubicon Express 3.5 inch lift kit
-Bilstein 5100 shocks
-Rubicon Express generation two sway bar disconnects
-Pro Comp stirring dampener
-KOR front track bar.
-Kit utilizes all stock control arms for better road handling and smother ride.
Tiers/Wheels
-Bfgoodrich mud terrains 32 by 11.5s
-Rock Crawler wheels 15X8 with 4.5” backspacing
-Tiers have about 60% tread left.
Axles
-Both differentials were replaced by the previous owner.
-Front axle is an open Dana 30 with 3.75 gears
-Front axle shafts were recently replaced with U joints style axle shafts with 297x U joints; this is a much stronger setup than the original CV (constant Velocity) style axle shafts.
-Back axle is an open Dana 35 with 3.75 gears
Other Information
-Full skid plates (engine skid, T-case skid and gas tank skid)
-Optima red top battery
-Alpine deck (relatively new) speakers are unknown
-New window motor
-Radiator and every other cooling system component was replaced summer 2006!
-Towing package includes hitch and a transmission cooler.
-After market Pro Comp light mounted on front bumper
-Computer replaced by previous owner
-Control arm bushings were replaced in spring 2006
Most of the miles are highway miles. I always let it warm up. This is a good driving, very freeway capable truck. Most people cannot believe that it is lifted because it drives so well and is so quiet. The truck is now very reliable and mechanically trustworthy. It has been well cared for all of its life, I ALWAYS warm it up before I drive it anywhere. I have always used Mobil One Synthetic oil or Castrol GTX. The oil is has been changed every 3-4500 miles. There are a few very slight cosmetic flaws. There is a rattle in the tailgate, that I can fix, and it needs windshield wipers. There are some very light scratches that a barley noticeable. I am very knowledgeable about these types of jeeps and would be more than happy to answer any questions about them. I am asking $5900, which is a fraction of the coast of the money that has been invested into it.
Serious buyers only please.
