I'm thinking of buying a tube die set to make a bender. Since I can only afford one size at this time what would be the ideal size?
1"
1 1/8"
1 1/4"
1 3/8"
1 1/2"
My plans are to make some tube doors and maybe a stinger for a jeep.
Thanks,
sceep

The ideal size die, would be the size that you intend to build the most stuff out of. This is kind of a no brainer question. If you are building little things with small tube, you need to buy a small die set, if you are building roll cages and tube chassis, tou need 1.5 or 1.75...
