i have a front 44 from a 78 ford and am looking to run a 15 inch rim but the duel piston calipers do not seem allow this

any suggestions for calipers, brackets, or rotors...?

grind the calipers or get wheels with less back spacing.

I'm running 1/2 ton GM calipers with a bit of grinding. The 3/4 ton calipers were a bit too big. Don't know about the dual piston though.

Shat... I am going to try to fit 15"s on 3/4 brakes... I'll post pics of everything when I am done

I ground my 1 ton chevy to fit 15". That was before there was so much tire size availability for 17". I will probably convert to 17" and fit 12.9" rotors with unground calipers on my wheels. Sure makes it nice for locking up 37" tires at speed.

If you plan on buying a 9" wide steel rim and a 37"x14" Irok, there is LITERALLY no price difference between the 15 and 17 inch rim

thanks for the ideas...

had plans to run the 35 krawlers but turns out i think im going to run the 37's w/the 17 in rims and just cut some sheetmetal...

see everyone at harlan for memorial day...
