in rubicon springs last year just before JJ we met this guy w/ a pnuematic beer can crusher on his rig-- mounted up by the spare tire carrier. . a ram, channel iron, a switch and a slotted bag to catch the flat ones. we're looking for pix or a design suggestion. have OBA so thats the easy part. he had a cool 'bar' trailer pictured below. any help here?

this is only thread i can find

the guy that owns the pictured trailer has the coolest crusher. i wish i had a pic., hence this thread. the basic idea is a switched pneumatic ram that travels down a short piece of channel iron to crush the beer can. there is a hole in the bottom end of the channel that allows a crushed can the then fall thru and into a slotted bag to dry out. i can likely build it from memory, but getting the air ram is the challenge. anyway, cool tool-- push a button, woosh, the ram slams home and crushes the can and then resets to the open position.

Here's an easy way... Via MSPaint from my school's crappy computer

Ram mounted on the top of a box
3 way valve (air in, air to ram, exaust air from ram)
done

You could also attach a piece of chain or mesh wire to the back of the ram that connects to the center of the bottom of the box so that the can automatically falls into a bin after its been crushed

Just an FYI for right-coasters, I don't have a link but there's a guy that keeps posting used take-out pneumatic cylinders on the raleigh craigslist raleigh.craigslist.org I don't know anything about him, 'cept he posts an ad every once in a while.
