Nice... got a buildup thread for this one or the next one you are building?

What front springs are you running?

I have been gathering parts for an Explorer build myself (302/ZF5spd/208F/D44/9") Now I just need an Explorer to put them in!

shouldn't be too hard to build something better than that!

spend a little more time on your radius arms and brackets this time.:shaking:

dont critiscize peoples shit unless its like that paparazzi buggy in gen 4x. Thats a cool sploder.

some extended radius arms from cage and some superflex coils would make that thing flex madly.

lets not get into an argument on this dudes thread, but what i said was constructive critiscizm. and this is pirate not TRS!

No, it isnt TRS. But i see nothing wrong with them, other than they could sit a little closer to the frame or be extended...both of which are mods im sure he will do in the future. That is how alot people deal with the radius arms in a sas, 78-79 brackets sit lower so it is easier to get your caster within specs. I think it looks bitchin, and yea, it would flex like crazy with a wristed or extended RA's.

but nowhere does it say you HAVE TO BE A PRICK....and with a post count of 50..and no red star....your credit isnt enough to be listened to...

too bad I didnt have the camera yesterday...when I had the front tires (trying to max out) on the back of a semi equipment trailer...the bottom of the front tire was higher off the ground than the top of the back tire..(35's)...and still felt stable even with 400lbs of cage...:flipoff2:

your right, nobody here has to be a prick. however they should be able to tell people what they think when they see some jenky shit. i'm sure a large % of people thought the same as me, but didn't say anything. this is pirate and people being honest instead of worrying @ hurting someones feelings is what helps guys get there shit built right. that way when you see the jolly roger flag on somebody's shit you know it's something to go look at, not just an old fullsize front end bolted under an RBV!!

:shaking: :shaking: :shaking: :shaking:

if yer usin the "Jolly Roger" to judge that...:shaking:

man...I dunno what to say...

but not everybody needs 60's or rockwells..and its gettin wheeled...so whats with the attitude??

do ya want him to do something revolutinary?? like a unicycle?? its a 4wd..it needs 4 wheels...and short of having something custom made for the front axle..why not put a fullsized front end in??..thousands of people have done it..and it WORKS..:smokin:

now Im gonna go search for pix of your rig..:D
EDIT...couldnt find any...but alot of "I plan on's"/"soon to be"...man..you fit RIGHT into my signature..(which I changed last week..)..

I dont wanna be a prick..but after doing my own SAS this winter..im humbled by the ammount of work it takes to do it right and get it workin...so lets leave it at that..and when your done with your build HOPEFULLY it gets ya some understanding of the work it takes to get it done...and maybe be a little humbled yerself..
