Reason i ask, this is the donor vehicle for my 4.3 and i am wanting to know if i can cut the whole motor mount out and reuse it in the toy. I'm being cheap and lazy, i know, but if its wider then a toy, then it should hold as good as in the blazer. As it sits, i have to fab up some kind of motor mount anyway cuz the original mounts are long gone. http://www.procats.com/4runner/sastorched.jpg Measuring the donor vehicle will get done, but its 3 hours away and i want to have an idea as to how i will be mounting the motor before i go pull it. I dont know anyone with an s10 blazer or i would measure that. I've searched, and no one that is doing the swap is using the oem chevy mounts. Could there be a reason for that? sure but i would like to try before i have to make something. So as long as the s10 frame width is more then 23", it may work just fine. | |
