This forum was set up after a 5/29/02 meeting with the Eldorado county Board of Supes and several members of the public to discuss the future of the Rubicon Trail.
We need to open the dialogue between us (the users) to make sure we have all the ideas we can get.
We're going to discuss sanitation (toilets and pack it out); trail signs; surveying the trail; clean ups; meetings; and you name it.
THIS IS OUR CHANCE to keep this crown jewel open the way we'd like it to be.
Oh, and we're also going to be pretty blunt about folks out there doing things that put the trail in jeopardy of closure.
