I am fixing to purchase a new F150 xtra cab V6, it will be my DD but I will also use it to haul my 85 flatbed. Has anyone ever hauled with a v6 F150?

i had a 2000 f-150 standard v-6,i pulled a tractor that weiged around 5000lbs.it done ok at on the power side,but was not very stable going down the road at speeds,same go's for the f-150 with a v-8 i had.i got rid of both of them trucks and got a crewcab f-250 psd.i think you will be fine on shorter trips with a f-150,but i would go with a 3/4 ton for longer trips.did i make any sence here:D
