Is anyone on the list using a Toyo Transfer Case in a Samurai?
Its time to change, the driveshaft vibration from using toyo axles
and the stock transfer case has to go, GRS or not.
If you are running dual TC's or a single please let me know.
I have collected several TC's for my project. I will be using
the stock motor.
What I am looking for is information on:
Fabrication of the Support
Intermediate shaft dimension
Divorced adapter, OTT or home made
I have communicated with wander4x4 and know how to build
a divorced adapter. I just need a machine shop near Boulder Colorado that does not charge a fortune.

Yes I had performed a search and yes read this.
No one in the thread indicated that they had a toyota transfer case in their Zuk. I am looking for information on one that is installed running the stock engine/transmission.
Maybe I should have asked. Who has a yoda transfer case installed in their zuk with a stock engine? I believe that inchworm has one but it has a different engine/trans package.

you can get an adaptor to marry a toy tranny to the zuk 1.6... i just happen to know that there are 9 more available now:D

As of right now you have no options for putting different t-case behind a 1.3 unless you fab it yourself. If you go with a 1.6 you can run a toy 5spd + toy tcase(s), stock 1.6 5spd & tcase + toy tcase or 1.6 auto & t-case + toy t-case. Since I'll have a 6:1 already I am going to try running a 1.6 + auto + stock t-case + divorced sammy t-case. Randy Ellis ran this setup for a while and it held up good, Mike Shaffer also ran something like this on his Sniper I believe.

I don't want to start any rumors, but Kerry@SOS currently has my 1.6 adapter plate, using it as a template to make a RingeR for 1.3s. :D
