Ok I know some people do not like a BA10 Tranny, but I am doing a change over on my 1987 YJ and putting a AX15 in. The BA10 was in the Jeep when I got it. I was told the jeep's owner was a Doctor in Atlanta and he never took it off road. Which I looked under the jeep and I did not see any mud. It shifts good and I use it very little just driving it around the yard. Now the NP231 T-Case seem to be in good working condition to. If anyone is interested I am looking to trade for a set of good used 35's M/T and a set of good used rims (15x8 are 15x10)for my YJ lug pattern 5 on 4.5. But I will sell out right two.
