My distributor cap is making a clicking noise, and I don't know what to do. I took it apart, it does not look like it is misfiring, or that the gap is to big so I don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd first replace the cap and rotor, cheap and easy. Next your disty may loosing the bushings allowing for some wobble, see if you can find a rebuild kit. My 2 cents.

Ok, I have a jeep CJ 7 with a Chevy 350 in it. I replaced the cap and rotor about 6 months ago. I have checked the timing and I think it is correct, everything seems to run ok it is just a really loud clicking noise in the cap and rotor.
