What is involved in replacing the 2 piece shaft with a one piece shaft? Is it as simple as welding a plate onto the housing and done? Someone please splain this to me. Thanx:flipoff2:

The 95 YJ long-side will not work if you want a 1 piece shaft. (95 still had the CAD with 2-piece long-side shafts).

You'll need the shafts from an XJ, TJ, or ZJ with the 30 and the inner oil seal. You will also need to block off the CAD plate with some sheet metal.

Bonus, you get the stronger U-joints and replace the failure-prone CAD
