I am finally looking at replacing my puny axles. The rear diff is whining pretty bad as well. Does anyone know of a good source for 24 spline guts?

I am located in Denver.

One of these 4 should have what you need. Prices may vary with cannibal maybe being the most expensive. I would ask roverclubhouse first., they have lots of spares these days.

yeah, I wouldn't touch rover cannibal. Bad experience there. I haven't used the club house, but they will be a choice. I have sourced the boards before. I was actually looking to see if anyone had good luck with certain "u Pull" or other import wrecking yards, that didn't nescessarily specialize in rovers but get them in.

I should have been more specific. My appologies.

What do you need? I have axle housings, 3rd member housings, differentials (no R+P's though). Oem front axles with CV's, and 2 sets of OEM rear axles.

ps. I have patronized RoverCannibal before, and was happy with the buisness and product.

I am hard to impress when it comes to customer service. I recently dealt with Sean and others at the Rover Clubhouse. It is one of the few vendors other than Rovertym that I look forward to calling. I STRONGLY recommend them and found there prices on Great Basin Rover components to be much better than even directly throught Bill. I also found the honesty to be top notch, which was a nice suprise from the norm.

Bill,

What would you want for the axles (front/rear) and cv's?

A customer of mine bought a couple diffs set up with 4.10s and ARBs from RCH. One had some miles on it the other was newly setup. When I got them i checked both out before installation and as I feared the one Sean attempted to set up himself to get it down the road was not properly assembled. The preload was way too heavy, no pinion depth shims were used to set pinion depth and the pattern was no good which you couldn't tell anyway with the prussian blue they used. The rear wasn't that good either but had been run so long adjustment wasn't worthwhile. So after setting up the front and installing them the rear developed an intermittent leak coming out the breather tube. So I pulled the rear and replaced the o rings and U-seal inside the locker.

I would buy other parts from him if I needed them and two other friends have had good luck buying some parts which I guess are off of Nathan Hindman's D90. I really like Rover Cannibal though. Just my experiences.
