I just want to be sure of what I am doing, so please patiently answer more of my dumb ?'s. Four seat chassis will meet comp standards as long as "the total frame length must not be shorter than the length of the chassis"? If the frame can be shortened in the rear can I exted my frame out to an apropriate length for the 4 seat chassis. I know the rule states "Frame length can be shortened in the rear only" but I have a great donor frame from an '84 runner that I assume will be to short and I will have to add a little in the rear. Thanks for your input :D
yes. just make sure you use the same size square tubing that the frame is when adjoin your piece to it. you might be okay with what you have. i would be intrested to see a pic of how close it is. also, dont taper your frame:)

When I get the frame to the chassis I will check on the length. This was kind of an assumption since I havent seen one put together yet. Thanks Hobie
