How effective/responsive are the brakes with no booster? :)

Save your money and keep the stock pedals and booster unless you have fitment issues.

Ditto!

I converted to a pair of Wilwoods MCs and it was quite the hastle. If I was to do it again, I'd use the stock MC w/ booster.

The stock stuff works well, and I would imagine it'd even be better knowing that 100s of pounds are shaved off when building the F-Toy.

I'm running Wilwood pedals and MC's. They recomended 3/4" for the front and 7/8" for the rear. DO NOT DO THIS. That set-up stinks. Hobie recommeded going with 5/8" bore front and rear. I just havn't gotten around to doing that yet.

If I was to do it over again, I would stick with the stock brakes. WAY cheaper, and they work fine.

We're running stock master/booster. I expect everything to function very well. I want to eject paasengers through the windshield under braking.

My stock brakes work awesome. just be willing to make or cut up the stock brackets to get good fitment.

I was running the stock booster, but upgraded to a T-100 booster before PUSU at the beginning of this season. The T-100 booster is slightly larger in diameter and creates more assitance during braking do to the increased suface area of the diaphgrahm inside the booster. I have seen a HUGE improvement in braking power with this upgrade.

Matt,
Do you have a picture or two of your setup?

Matt,
Do you have a picture or two of your setup?

I will post up some pics on Monday, but there is nothing special about the install. The T-100 booster has the same bolt pattern on both the pedal mounting side and the MC side. It's basically a drop in replacement. I am also running the FJ 1" bore master brake cyclinder that we sell on our website along with the V6 calipers and vented rotors.

I purchased the T-100 booster from Napa, but a juckyard one will work just as good.

Give me a call on Monday if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Matt
