well as many of you recall marlin had agreed to provide me with a set of his new gears for evaluation. well i just recieved them in the mail and will be taking them to a machinest and an engineer to do an unbiased evaluation and comparision to the old style gears. i will then do the first part of my write up. then i will be installing them into the pirate4x4.com project low bucks cal-rocks competion vechile for a long term torture test. followed by another write up. look for info soon.
oh and my hats off to marlin for sticking to his word. :usa:

with the support of many vendors. pirate4x4.com is building a cal-rocs compitition toyota truck. the truck will run in the stock class. marlin is suppling a new 4.7 gear set and billit adapter.
