Building a flat fender on a postal frame, going outboard with wrangler springs. The jeep will have a 5.0, d44's, 435 trans. 90' wb. I was thinking about using 4 rear springs. Am I correct in assuming the rears are stiffer than the fronts?

I dont recommend using stock YJ springs (front or rear) unless you like changing them frequently and have an unlimited supply. They sag easily and just collapse after decent wheelin. I would suggest a small aftermarket lift spring like a 1" or 2" YJ spring.

Jc Whitney sells some springs that alot of people swear by, If you do a search on leafs for SOA or something like that this will come up.

You can also modify the wrangler spring to it is a bit stiffer and wont sag as fast.

Again in the search.

I plan on buying 2.5" lift springs and was leaning towards 4 rears and was wondering if this would be ok, or should I explore other options? I need to know soon because I getting ready to buy the mounts and shackles...Thanks

i run jc whitney 7leaf hd springs for the rear of a cj and they flex real nice. they last alot longer than the stock yj's too.
