I wanna see pics of your pigs front-rear bumpers and sliders. What works and what doesn't, who built it and what it cost. Thanks

Here's my skid plate, custom built to protect the SM465+NP203+4spdtcase. The tcase is about one foot rearward of the stock location. It was built by Michael Dremann (LEDrem@ix.netcom.com)

Rear corner protection by Luke Porter of 4x4 Labs (http://www.birfield.com/~morgan/ranch/img_0291-md.jpg):

Rear bumper by Dave Custer of Shrapnel Metal Design and rear swing-out by Luke Porter:

I would [u]not recommend Dave Custer, but I can say Luke has done a good job on the swing-arm. It's almost done - just need to add a hi-lift carrier and make one or two tweaks and it'll be ready for Rubithon.

I'd recommend Butch, Mike and Luke to you as good fabricators, and all these designs work well for me. I'd like to put a mini-nerf on the rear corner protection someday, but it will have to wait. Who knows? Maybe I'll just bob the 55 and make a 50. :)

Yes, I know, as all true followers in the way of pirate4x4, I must get a welder, plasma cutter, bandsaw to augment my chop saw and grinder and build everything myself, from now on. 'Cause god knows I've got nothing else to do! :shaking:

Got burnt by Dave Custer.

I think I might go 1-ton at some point. I've ot a C&C 14-bolt in the garage, and when I can afford it I'll start looking for a front D60. That's down the road, and I'm not sure I'll go that route. I really want to run 38.5x14.5 SX tires.

Wheeling it as it is this summer, except for addition of an anti-wrap bar, basically. Bunch of stuff to fix before Rubithon. Shit I've got to get wrenching!
