I'll have the frame 95% preped this weekend. I'm planning to remove the front cross member and replace it with Marlin's front spring hangers recessed into the frame rails. I know I'll need to replace the rear cross member to the length of the chassis. Does the middle crossmember need to come out for drivetrain fitment?

I'm thinking of stretching the chassis 12" for a back seat. I assume this will make it non-comp legal... or would it?

What is the average chassis height above the frame rails? 2" seems to be popular but I'm 6'-2" and 265 lbs :eek: ..... any of you bigger folks got input on this topic?

I'v got mine set at about 2" above the rails as I'm 6-1.
and I took out the middle crossmember, I tried to keep it but it was more of a hassle to work around it then it was to just cut it out and make a new one a little further back.

i am 6 foot s45 lbs and have a bad leg but i fit mine fine at the 103 inch wheel base
i have the jump seats in the rear for one of the 2 that lives with me. and steve ride in passanger seat just make sure seats are on slides
