I bought an 8274 winch that wasnt working. He said i just needed to replace the solenoid packs, which i did and im still not getting any power to it, how can i test just the motor to see if its toast or not? There are the 3 big terminals on the top, and then the ground wire on the side of the motor. Which post or combination of posts do i touch with a battery lead to test it?
Thanks

This is Montana. The weather is always changing. We had 85ºF on Wednesday and 0.71" of rain  yesterday!

In 2 weeks, the North Fork will be crankin'; I might be up for taking the raft up there.

I'll PM you with my phone #/addy. I'm about 1/2 mile north of Hillcrest. My boss just built there a year ago.
