StoopidMonkey 04-30-2007, 08:48 AM I bought an 8274 winch that wasnt working. He said i just needed to replace the solenoid packs, which i did and im still not getting any power to it, how can i test just the motor to see if its toast or not? There are the 3 big terminals on the top, and then the ground wire on the side of the motor. Which post or combination of posts do i touch with a battery lead to test it? Thanks ditchpig 04-30-2007, 10:12 AM Ground case (negative) , connect F2 to Armeture and put +12V(positive) to F1 , to turn the other way connect F1 to Armeture and put +12V to F2 .
