Hi, can someone post some pics on how a Sami axle pinion angle should look like with SPOA.

Thanks

do not rotate the front! keep the castor same as stock, unless youre planning on cutting off the tubes and re welding them. if you change the castor angle, youll have very dangerous bumpsteer, if youre able to steer at all.

My SPOA... I leveled the kingpin caps with the spring perch, so with them on the front stock spring it should be around -1* or -2* caster. it is a good trade off between caster and bringing up the pinion, and my samurai handled great that way.

Ohh, you'll be able to steer, but it'll be a challenge :D When I built my truck I didnt care about caster, so I turned the pinion up as I had 2 other cars and a wife. turns out soon after I had only my truck and no wife :flipoff2: .. whoops -6* caster  made for fun driving, but I never had a driveline Vibe :p

Expound on this please.

I have been working on my sammi and the front end is way out of whack. Im thinking it would be best to shim the axle to bring the pinion back down. I'm not quite sure I understand when you say "dont rotate teh front".

When you rotate the front axle you are also rotating the steering knuckle and screwing up your caster angle unless you cut them off, rotate and reweld.
