I've heard this can be done with minimal work, but so far I've been unsuccessful in determining what "minimal work" is...

What's it take to put a pass side drop Dodge D60 into the front of the 73-87 GM trucks?

Spring perches' the same?

Steering links?

Thanks a bunch!

Spring perches are close enough, 1/4" on either side ain't gonna hurt anything.
Brake lines are different, depending what year your truck is, the current lines maybe bolt on. 10 bolt yes, D44 no.
Shock mounts are at a different angle.
U-joint, Dodge uses some weird u-joints, not sure if you can get a conv. joint or not.
I think steering is the same, but I have crossover.
Make sure you get the spring plates, they are specific to Dodge.

this is true, to the point that, you can get the axle in the truck, and it will drive, and wheel fine, I did it for 2 years or longer.. BUT spreading the springs out like that hindered flex.. Take the time to shim your springs out a 1/4" on both sides

a little grinding, on the outside of the bushing, and a 1/4" spacer on the inside of the bushing, and wallah...

or do a 56" spring swap and kill 2 birds with 1 stone
