Anyone been up there lately? Say in the last week or so? Just wondering about water levels and if anyone has made it through yet. Also anyone know about the snow level at Meadow lake? You know all the good stuff.

I read a couple weeks ago there was a 3 foot tree across the trail 3 feet off the ground.

note to self: bring a chainsaw and lots of 2 cycle gas...

You are correct!! and there is a bypass that some dirt bags have made. Someone needs to go in there with a BIG chainsaw and some wedges.

I went through from Fordyce lake and had to run the trail all the way down to eagle lakes. The road to Fordyce lake was all snow from about the 4 mile mark and gets slushy to the point of sinking around afternoon.

Well the water level sounds good. We'll have to see about that chainsaw thing. Thanks guys. Going this weekend, will be up there (I-80) side around 9 am on saturday.

cant get to meadow yet, to much snow. might have melted by now though. lot of water comin down the hill. saw that bypass. someone with a saw better get out there quick(wish i had one or knew someone with one big enough) or that will be the NEW trail.:rolleyes:
