Well im thinking about swapping in a diesel into my s10 and right now i think i may have to move my radiator to the bed i have a couple of questions

ive heard that some people have mounted them inbetween the frame rails could i do that? or should i not since sometimes this may go into the mud

another place i was going to do it was between some bars that i would custom make to mount if on. Or where do you guys have them at?

Another thing is how do i go about getting my piping back there what pipes am i going to have to get to get the coolant back there? And will i have to upgrade the pump to get it back there or will i have to buy a pump to put it inline?

Thanks for all the help

inbetween the frame rails or not, I guess thats up to you. Not sure how else you'd do it. You talking offset to one side or something?

I ran aluminum 1.75" tubing for my coolant. Just start bending and fitting. I didn't do anything different with the water pump and it all works just fine.

Ive herd of guys using stainless exhaust tubing to route the coolant.
I am sure any compitent exhaust shop could do it pretty quickly

as long as your not trying to pump the water 10' up vertically you shouldn't have any issues with pumping it back there. I would try and make sure its not restricted with any sharp bends also. only problem i see with having an exhaust shop do it is most don't use a mandrel bender. a regular bender would just create more restrictions. also the aluminum tubing is a great idea since the aluminum transfers heat much better than SS or regular exhaust tubing.
