Metal Tech is looking to attend this year. Ron has badgered us enough that we thought that it might be worth attending too :p

Is there any wheeling in the area? If so I would be inclined to tow my 40 down to the event and possibly go wheeling before or after.

I'll be clearing out the rest of my 40 series parts...

Includes an Excellent FJ40 hood from a '78 in fresh Free Born Red
1976 windshield complete with hinges, wipers, etc. Georg has first call on it.
Early style windshield frame, bare, cheap.

Here is a sweet set...
two rear swing out doors, very good shape, and a left and a right, spare tire carriers including all latch hardware, some new in bag. The thought was a left and right swing outs for tire on one side, gas cans on the other. Doors and tire carriers and hardware to go as complete set.

Two york air compressors, and two mini truck air compressors

sets of doors: 1982 mini truck, 1984 4Runner

early style running boards, long.

1982 mini truck headlight rings, grills, and other mini truck accutraments.

1982 mini truck tail gate, in excellent shape. 1984-89 tailgate

couple of early style 40 series doors in various pieces.

oh ya, complete FJ40 rollbar including pads... will sell complete
and a roll cage for an FJ40, no rear family section, only front.

and I think I'll be doing my dutch oven seminars for anyone interested or simply hungry. Will do breakfast in the 14" around 9, then cobblers in the afternoon. Of course there will be taste tests!

Remember, this is our 10th anniversary of the swap meet! Come out and see what has made it so successful!

I've got more stuff to bring than I have room in the truck. I'll prolly narrow it down about an hour before I leave!

Only one thing [actually two] on the 'wanted' list this time around. Got a customer that asked me to keep an eye out for a pair of late model hardtop side panels with the vent windows that open. If anyone has a good rustfree pair of these, they can PM me the info.

I am also looking for somewhere to crash Friday night that is fairly close [like less than 30 minutes] from the meet if at all possible. I have a hunch it's gonna be a VERY LONG day for me Saturday.:)

My list of what I'm bringing (it will grow, as I uncover more)

set of early hard doors (71 or 72). Really good shape. freeborn red. -- Not sure where those will price probably ~$250.

Front bib (72)

bezel (72)

Hood (bondo cracking from a flip, but no major rust)

2f valve cover

weber(s)

Holley 4 barrel(s)

Rochester 2 jet(s)

some short aluminum running boards

Hella H4s -- 2 w 55/60 and one with no bulb

Late model (indent for dist) side cover -- New OEM

Have one extra "Trail Cover" from Eshan -- not a soft top, but a cover for the soft top/roll cage. Must either have a full family cage, or a softtop. Works well to keep the winter crud off of your soft top.

Set of 79+ Mile Marker hubs - brand new

Marcus... Windsor is closer, but you are also welcome in Healdsburg. If you do opt for Windsor, I think I might take Johns offer for BBQ and socializing.
I'll also have your Rubithon stuff, delivered in person.

I have a cage for a cruiser, full front, no family rear type coverage. It is Flatty's old cage from eons ago, tested by Eric Wehrer. $100 but need commitment, will not bring it if no one says confirmed sale.

And for everyone attending, I want to ask you on behalf of all your friends in Pacific Mountain Cruisers, please bring us a raffle prize to donate. Ya, we appreciate you attending and buying a T-shirt, you are truly the best, but a raffle prize donated to our club at our TLCA Sponsored event would be awesome, and would help support our Chapter club immensely.

Wow! That's FM! I was gonna PM you tonight to ask how close you were, and then you go and post up!:smokin: I will save enough room in the pickup for the geetar.;p I will have Calico Kid with me, if that matters. He's a hoot!

I've also been mulling this over, and I would like to do something else at the swapmeet to help Dave beyond the garage sale I've got going. What I'd like to do is set out a couple of blankets for guys to put stuff on to sell with proceeds for Dave. PLEASE don't leave stuff there at the end of the day. If it doesn't sell, please have the courtesy to take it back.

Whoever it was that needs an empty 60 housing, I can certainly bring one of those. If you need stuff, just leave a message at the shop and I'll do my best. Got a charcoal canister thingy for Fast Eddy and a bezel for Mike G.

Think I should weld my axle before I come?:p

So... we are now a Walker Evans dealer and on our initial order they screwed up and gave us 10 wheels of 17 x 8.5, 3.75" BS, 8 lug on 6.5 bolt pattern, polished beadlocks. 5 of them are going to DHONDAGOD (Chris) and we are looking to unload the other 5. Is there any interest among you Nor Cal guys or someone that is traveling to the swap meet that might know of someone that would be interested? Pricing on the rims we are looking for $315 per wheel.

Also i'll be bringing my 4spd case with an AA sm465 adaptor (32 spline), 3 FJ55 rear springs, possibly a set of front fenders, Pig 4340 Inners (FJ40), and whatever else I can think of that I want to unload.

You mean 10 "wheels" not 10 "sets"..... If anybody is considering a set of polished Walkers 17x9" then jump on these, Mark beat everybody elses pricing by enough to make it worthwhile to buy from he and LT so I bought/orderd 5... I guess they sent a double order so now these are on the chopping block (Walker ships everything COD)

Besides, if Im going to give my $$$ to someone it may as well to Mark :homer:and LT :mr-t:.

Also -- Things I'm looking for --

I need a good radiator -- turns out my mounts broke the solder joints last trip out to the 'con. I know that a good rad shop can fix that, but it seems everything has gone to "1-800-radiators" or the like. EPA has shut a lot of them down.

I'm also looking for seat sliders (bestop)

Aisin hubs

Saginaw box

pedal assembly

Is anyone interested in a set of cheap Super Swamper TSL radials?

I have four 36" x 12.5 R15 with about 30% tread left. One has a cut in the outer sidewall. It doesn't go all the way through the carcas and it still holds air. It would work as a trail spare, but I wouldn't trust it on a daily driver.

I'm on the fence about bringing them up because they take a lot of room and will limit what I can bring. Let me know if anybody is seriously interested and I'll pack em.

And are you sure they are 12.5 and not 14.5? Are they tsl/sx's?

Cheap
Adjective

1. Relatively low in price or charging low prices; "it would have been cheap at twice the price"; "inexpensive family restaurants".

2. Tastelessly showy; "a flash car"; "a flashy ring"; "garish colors"; "a gaudy costume"; "loud sport shirts"; "a meretricious yet stylish book"; "tawdry ornaments".

3. (informal) of very poor quality.

4. Embarrassingly stingy.

haha... NorcalZuk and Petescoffee slayed the raffle... F*%#ers. :)

:flipoff2: I struck out at Rubithon so I was making up for it.

Also, Scored my new windshield (thanks Tony) as well as a few mini truck parts for my nephew (boy are they cheaper than LC parts). Wnet back to buy the ALCAN mini truck springs that were for sale but the seller had left. Snooze you loose I guess. (on a side note if you were the one selling the front 4" ALCAN mini springs send me a PM) Had a great time and am looking forward to next year. Great Turn Out too. The drive back to Bodega Bay was windy with out a windshield. I think my ear drums are still trying to recover.

Logged 921 miles on the 45 for a weekend of fun.

Thanks to peesalot for putting me and Calico up for the night Friday, and for the good eats! Nice digs you got there John!

Cool to see everyone at the meet. Made up for missing Rubithon a little. Hope to get the 40 back on the road soon. Made a few $$ but spent a lot more, which wasn't a very good plan considering I'm trying to downsize my inventory!:shaking: At least most of it went for a pair of those uber-cool tube doors from Metal Tech! Should be sporting those on the 45 in time for the 45 run!

Thanks to sine80 for putting us up Sat night. It was great hangin with greenfox, NorCal60 and okie til 2am swapping lies and coming up with wicked plans for a new TUT thread on Teabag Tom!:flipoff2:

Also got to check out D'Animal's spread on the way back to LA. THAT is some serious elbow room there Dan! Just makes me want to get the heck out of here a little sooner than before.

Best

Mark A.

Oh yeah. Another thanks to sine80 for the use of the welder. The crack on the front axle tube was getting pretty good by the time we got back from the meet to Stockton again!
