1995 S10 ZR2. A few weeks ago, I had the transmission almost all the way out, as in the bellhousing bolts were out, everything was unhooked and it was slid back about 1", but never actually "out". Then I realized I didn't need to drop it to the ground, so I bolted it back up. I went to drive it out of the garage last night and I touched the clutch pedal and it didn't move it all, then it went right to the floor way too easy. I let it back up and now it is rock solid. It won't move even 1/8". I never unhooked the lines to the clutch, so I assume its not a fluid problem. Maybe something got messed up when I unbolted the slave cylinder and moved the motor back? I'm not familiar with how things work in there, so I can't speculate what might be wrong.
Any ideas before I go tearing the transmission out again?

Just speculation but... sounds like you shifted the clutch fork and it (or the throwout bearing) is now tangled up with the pressure plate. Prolly gonna have to pull it apart again.

you probably crushed the hydraulic line going to the slave cylinder. i let one slip in between the tranny and block many years ago and had the exact same symptoms

Nope, not that. I made sure not to do that, a friend did the same thing a few years ago.

check to make sure that the slave cylinder is hitting the clutch fork and not bound up in there , mine did the same thing and was just not in the clutch fork.

The slave cylinder rod came out of alignment with the little cup it pushes on. There is a plastic access plug in the bottom of that little housing on the bellhousing, so I pulled the plug, looked in there with the flashlight, lined it up, and good to go. SOrry for lack of proper terminology.
