After a few searches I can't seem to find the exact information as applied to my scenario. Many other stuff that dances around what I am looking for, but no specifics.
I just bought an 85 4Runner, which will be my project truck that I can bring out West (instead of my POS IFS). I want to take advantage of the Rancho sale which is ending tomorrow so I need to find out shock sizes without having the springs on the truck. Yeah, sounds lazy :flipoff2: but I was going to do compression and extension measurements with springs on, but then I won't be able to cash in on the 3 for 4 deal.
I'm planning on rear Procomp YJ 2.5" spring up front and Chevys in the rear for an overall 3" lift. I imagine the 9012 with work in the rear as long as I reposition the upper and lower mounts. Is this correct? How about the front with 3" of lift and the stock mounts? Which one works best? And if I upgrade to Fords or AOR can I still use them or will I have to replace those too?
I'm not looking for more than 3" lift. In GA we don't really need that much articulation and this truck is fairly mint so I won't be tearing it up that bad. That's what the cruiser is for :)
Thanks for help!
