I've tried the search and there is a ton of info but nothing I can find addresses what needs to be done other than rewelding spring perches. I am not going SOA, staying SUA. aWaht else will have to be done? Drive shaft length right? U-joints right, if not got a part number? E-brake hook up ok with mods? Any help or suggestions taken.
Thanks

If its a CJ 44 going being swapped in place of a CJ M20 then it should be a direct swap. The only difference may be in driveline length. The u-joints will be the same.

well make sure your axle widths are going to be close. Not sure of the CJ wide track or narrow widths. The scout rear is ~59" WMS-WMS. Not sure if the e-brake cables will work off the scout (doubt they will) and you will have to relocate your spring perches.

I have read that the "T" on the axle for the brake lines has to be drilled out. Anyone know for sure? Also the U-bolt plate bolt pattern is off and has to be drilled and washers welded in, anyone??

The ebrake cables will work and I don't think the Ubolts are the same size. You're going to have an axle width difference and how much will depend on what year your rig is.

What is it replacing? A 20 has a bigger ring gear (8.8) and 29 spline axles compared to a 44's 30 and 8.5 ring. ;) Just throw in some one piece axles and you're set!
