: Grooved and minus the Body Lift

Well I got the tires grooved and pulled the body lift. Sorry for the typical parking lot shot but I'm at work. It definitely feels better w/o the extra 2" and the grooving definitely makes the tires flex better over those speed bumps:flipoff2:

For comparison the before shot

Thanks to rkcrawl from the PBB for letting me use his grooving iron and to Chico from the PBB for drinking all my beer and watching me pull the BL:flipoff2:

Looks good :D

You don't need flares down in FL ? Lucky you!

They get a little wiggy up here in PA if you don't have your tires covered. I had to threaten violence on the old guy that inspects my Jeep, because he got weird on me about my tires being about 1 1/2" past the flares. Funny thing was, I just had it inspected 6 months ago with the same tires, and he didn't say a word about them then  ( I had to get it inspected again to match my plate sticker :mad3: )
Finally got him to inspect it, but only after I agreed that if I got pulled over, those tires weren't on it when he gave me the sticker... Whatever man :flipoff2:. Just gimme my change, Fawker!

I've been waiting to get pulled over and after about 1300 miles both local and hwy I guess they don't care. My whole 38x12.5 hangs outside. I've passed tons of police, had them drive behind me, pass me, everything. My guess is that they're all either good 'ole boys, friends with good 'ole boys, have kids or husbands that are good 'ole boys, or they're like Badassjeepguy and just care about getting to the doughnut shop:D

Looks excellent dude! It looks much more proportional without the body lift. It must be nice to run with no flares. They are a little anal about tires sticking out here.

How long did it take you to groove the tires and/or how much ?:flipoff2:

Look how wide that thing is. I can't see him having any stability issues with it. You can tell he's gonna roll it, just from a parking lot picture?? Damn, you're good :flipoff2:

You remind me of back in the day when I had my YJ. I had taken it to Montgomery Wards to get some 33's put on in place of my 31's. Some crazy bitch that worked there took a look at it, and started waving her finger at me, telling me I'm gonna roll it over. I was like "Oh really?". She got real irate and was like "You'll see, remember what I told you!!!"... LMAO whatever, Beeotch :flipoff:

That thing is WIDE. I don't think he has much to worry about...
Besides rolling is like computer crashing, not a matter of IF, more a matter of WHEN. :grinpimp:

Took about 2 hours. He doesn't know how much beer it'll cost him yet :D:D

Seeing as you have a YJ, why don't you give me your windshield frame height, your width (outside tire to outside tire), your unsprung weight with those 44's and 37's, and your wheelbase.

Then we'll compare that to my winshield frame height of 81", my width of 84", my unsprung weight from a HP60/14Bolt combo w/ 38s, and my wheelbase of ~100"

This should tell us who's more likely to roll, might be you:eek: I love know it alls, :beer:s to your infinite knowledge

Oh you will definetly roll that thing, I can tell by the sticker on the windshield.

I am 84" tall and 85" wide. Plan on pulling the 2" BL also.
