: Can you weld an ATV axle (rear)?

I was just thinking how neato it would be to have a welded axle on a ATV. Anyone ever done it? Ive never even looked inside an ATV diff.

not sure what you got but i didnt now they even had a differential all high performance atv have a solid axl :rasta:

why? do u mean like a spool, becaue they already have 2 tire fire. does yours have an open diff:confused:

I have a Honda 300 Fourtrax and when Im stuck Im pretty sure that only 2 ties spin. One in front one in the back...

Well, maybe not, maybe Im not thinking right... Maybe they all 4 spin....

Now I cant remember...

Hi-Lift I think makes a locker for your appluication check around in Dirtwheels and see what you can find. Its a gear locker from what I remember and it has no bad marks. Just my opions

dude i had a 300 you have a solid rear axel and an open front diff:rasta: any ATV mag will have ads for places that sell lockers:D i now have honda 450es with big wheel kit , 2" lift. etc. its bitchen:)

as has been already stated, you can get lockers for them. Even detroit makes one now, although I wouldn't pay 400 bucks for a atv locker. :eek: I have seen spools for them too, that would be the best and cheapest option in my opinon!
