This thing belong's in the desert or on the track. We mainly ride in the forrest and in technical areas and while riding last weekend, seeing god a few times, I decided this thing must go. It WILL kill me :D It still does really well and handles like a much smaller bike than it is, but I am getting old and fat. Bad combination riding this beast.
Anyhoo, the wife really wants a quad. Preferrably a 4x that she/we can bop through the forrest on. As soon as I clean her up, I'm trading or selling it. Lemmeknow if you're interested.

Sell, how could you sell a husky? I have a 96 610 that will out-power just about any bike made today (the new KTM 520 are crazy fast). Six-speeds, over fifty HP, and weighing in at about 265........sounds like a keeper to me. Maybe you could build the wife a sidecar:bender:

Yeah, I know. I love the bike. Mine's the same as yours. SUPA go fast. Just weighing some options, that's all. I'm in no hurry. :D :D

Loppy, I have had a couple big Husky's. I discovered that if you lighten the Flywheel by about a pound or so, you can make it alot more fun to ride in the woods. Still a tractor, but rev's much better, and feels like the bike weights 100 pounds less. Also, if cut the top of the radiator's off and re-position the water lines you can grind the steering stops to make it turn better. Believe it on on I used to do pretty well on my Husky's in the Nor-Ca Enduro circuit. I think there one of the best all round play bikes every made!

Thanks Jiffy. Good ideas. I really love the bike. I know about the flywheel trick on em. Buddy of mine desert races a WXC350 with a 480 kit. Titanium everything in the motor along with the light flywheel. Fastest damn dirtbike I've ever seen
For as big of a bike the 610 is, It's really quite managable. I'm not a small guy so it works well for me. I wanna gear it down a notch or two and I think it'll be perfecto.
Now I gotta figure out why it wont pop. :( PRAYING it's not the ECM or coil. Unfortunately... Husky parts = $$$$.
