Tony indicated that the "Draft EIS" is due out the end of June or early July.

The will be a 45 day comment period following the release of the selected "plan" either A, B, C, D, or the dreaded E.

It is a good time to go to the EldoNF site and just look for your favorite trails on each of the plans.

Prepare to write in about your favorite places, and how it will affect you if the route is closed.

Tony will also add to the website, some "suggestions" on how to "effectively" write in about your favorite trails.

I could not call in today becuase I had to teach.

From the E-mail chain I heard Tony will be leaving his post about the time the draft comes out.

That fawkin SUCKS!

Who the hell is Jason Bedlo? I think we need to do a little research and see if this guy is a tree hugger or if he will be as fair as Tony. Did they give a bio on him?

He's never been in California, he went though the same training program that Tony did. He has no background in recreation.

I know there was more, but those were my notes.
