Is there any way to have front drive only with a toyota t-case? Like a Dana 300 can twin stick with front only.

No it's not really possable without a complete redesign of the tcase. High Angle Drive Line is working on adapting a rear deive shaft disconnect for the same effect. Planning to put one in my rig as soon as I can get the parts.

no one has come up with a solution and the search button never reveals a solution, nor does the links posted reveal a solution other than going to a dana 300, which is not a solution if you want to keep the toyota t-case.

Well there is the remove 8 bolts on the rear drive shaft solution :rasta:

BTW - highway handling in front wheel drive is kinda weird - oh wait - thats just the IFS....

As far as the search - if ya read the links - they reveal enough info so that you might try making one....

To answer rockis hopperis's question....

How about an ARB or Eaton Electric in the rear and use a Cutting Brake. Thats what I am going to do.

I did the same thing, arb/ dual line locks in the rear, it BAREly works, but it also might be the 4.3 is easily able to overpower the brakes.. Yes, if the damn front can only be engaged, cutting brakes will work nicely. Was able to play with unlocking the rear with an Atlas II on a rig i built here last year, and that was really cool..
