: 3 sp t/cacase vacumm shift conversion to floor shif Bob B 05-30-2002, 08:09 PM What is involved in the way of parts to convert the vacuum shift o a floor shift? Can this be done with the t/case in the frame by pulling the tranny hump? Are there any internal parts swaps in the t/case, or is every thing outside? You need the bracket, lever, H/Lo linkage and the 3sp 2w/4w shift fork and everything is on the outside, so no idsassembly is required. goldenarrow 05-30-2002, 10:03 PM check out my thred on ih8mud.com i wrote a detailed description on how to do the conversion using the parts from a four speed i did this with just takeing off the tranny hump. before you start rember to drain all the geer oil:jeep3: | |
