i have recently decided to swap my F-Head for a 350
since i am not a pro yet, i have some questions
can i use my T90 on a 350 ?
if so, all i need to do is get a longer input shaft right?
i also plan on getting full size chevy axles from a suburban or truck
will 1 inch outboard be enough?
would someone explain hi steer to me
thanks for any help

Dude, drop-kick that t-90 into the weeds. It might be o.k. for an old wheezing f-head, but even the mildest 350 will gut that thing the first time you get awn it. Go with a beefier transmission.
As far as your other two questions go, I got three words for you: search, search, and search. Type 'hi-steer' into the search engine and you're bound to find literally DOZENS of threads related to it, many with pics. Same with 'outboard springs' too I reckon.
Good luck dude,
Jake

No, 1" isn't enough. Do a search.

He is right, I swapped a 350 and ripped 3 teeth of 3rd gear on my T98. I dropped in a T18, and it can hang now. You will need an adapter for the trans to the bellhousing. Mine came with it, but it is from Advanced Adapters, and runs aprox $575.
