Con' or Fordyce trip after the Donner event?

I am planning on running Donner but also taking a few days off after the event to make ethier a fordyce or rubicon run. Any of you other guys up for that? I am thinking the monday after the comp thur the 4th, weds.

Cool, I took Friday-Weds off. Its up to you guys, but do you guys want to head to the trail head late sunday evening after all is wrapped up or Monday am. Monday am sounds better to me but I am up for whatever.

i just got more time off so i am totally down to the con cuz i have never doen it before.

No on the wilderness permit. A fire permit is needed though. They can be picked up at any rangers station or from a ranger. I will have one. So if we all camp together then we should be good. However by July they may have fire restrictions in place which would limit us to BBQ's and laterns only anyways.

A good Rubicon trip is to wheel into the Spring Monday. Tuesday wheel Cadillac hill and some other spots, stay at the spring again and then head out on Wednesday or Thursday. Done this a couple of times make for a good relaxing trip.

Well due to some unforeseen work circumstances I am not going to be able to make the comp or the after comp Con run. I am bummed :( but thats the life of a general manager with a small company. Good luck to you guys competing at Donner and I hope the Con run turns out great! I will look for the pictures.
