: 9mm... S&W MP, Walther, XD...
Schmozilla 05-13-2007, 09:20 AM I can get a sweet deal on a S&W MP 9mm for the next week... but im also looking at 2 other guns, either the Walther P99, of Springfield XD. Just for shits ive been thinking about just buying the Walther P22 That I can get dirt cheep...275 for the target model.
Im looking for something to take to the range that is different from the .32 revolver that I have now
Jason R 05-13-2007, 09:47 AM Where's the "other" box? :flipoff2:
EDIT: Who is that in your avatar?
4x401cj 05-13-2007, 09:48 AM The P22 is a fun gun and cheap to shoot.
Burritos Daddy 05-13-2007, 09:48 AM you'll have a blast with a .22 and the ammo is cheap
Weasel 05-13-2007, 12:45 PM P22 or I like the new Sig Mesiquto(sp?). Buddy has the walther and it a blast to shoot, the mags suck to load though and are cheap, the safety on them is retarted but they still are fun.
zcarczar 05-13-2007, 01:14 PM Just picked up an M&P 9mm, great gun, shoots extremely well. It also has interchangeable back straps included with the pistol so you can tailor the grip size to your liking.
Toyoda 05-13-2007, 02:11 PM I have the xd and love it, my wife has the m&p and loves it.
The m&p is nice, but to me the xd is still better.
The avatar was from a contest, long ago. That chick was the hottest. I wish I could remember what the thread was.
Keith Strong 05-13-2007, 06:24 PM I chose p99 for a couple of reasons. I have an XD-9 (love it), I really liek the M&P but I like the P99 more. I have a P22 and it is probably the most fun I have had with a plinker gun. I just dig the Walther styling, and it feels good in my hand. I must confess I have not shot one though. Verdict, buy them all  :flipoff2:
planefixer 05-13-2007, 07:05 PM I've been real happy with my P99.
sharpshooter 05-13-2007, 08:35 PM I suggest you go shoot a few at a range that rents them. I was all about the XD until I fired it and I hated it. I ended up geting the M&P and am very happy with it and may even still get a P99 later on. I also have the P22 and it is a great plinker.
planefixer 05-14-2007, 09:16 AM I'll be picking up a P22 pretty soon.
Schmozilla 05-14-2007, 11:13 AM I think Ill be picking one up tomorrow...just depends on how cash flow goes....
Kendo 05-14-2007, 03:19 PM Another vote for the M&P. I haven't shot an XD, but I have held one. Didn't like the feel. The M&P feels great, balance is good and shoots very well. I have never been a huge Smith & Wesson fan either, but this thing feels quality to me.
mcamish01 05-14-2007, 07:48 PM quit pussing about and get a real gun, in the .40 or .45 variety....bitch.:flipoff2:
LV03TJ 05-15-2007, 08:26 PM I've never shot the MP or the XD, but I do shoot my P99 regulerly, and it's my main carry gun. I have never had a problem with the Walther and it's going on 4k rounds. The P22 is a great gun too. The only one I've ever shot was suppresed and I fell in love with that gun. I shot a couple of full auto that day too, but that suppresed .22 really stood out on the fun quotient.
Schmozilla 05-15-2007, 09:06 PM I ordered a carbon fiber P22 today... I will have her tomorrow

kodiak1232003 05-18-2007, 08:08 PM cans are where it is at...I love mine and now this combo is well over 75000 rds...no probs...

TheRedHorseman 05-18-2007, 08:13 PM how loud are those .22 subsonics without a can?
ear protection still required?
Out of my Smith 22A, they are just a hair quieter than a standard round. Still friggin loud, though they are a lot quieter with a can.
Brent@sacnuts.com 05-22-2007, 02:08 AM where can one get .22 cans at?
Keith Strong 05-22-2007, 06:09 AM Outside of CA.
