I’m getting ready to rebuild some 86 Waggy D44’s to swap into my YJ, But I’ve got a few questions. And yes I used the search function

Question #1: Is a full float kit worth it? Warn makes a blank it for the 44 but would have to get the axles cut and splined. Do the benefits out weigh the price. Oh and by the way Warn doesn’t make a 6 on 5.5 they only make a 5 on 5.5, meaning I would have to convert the axles to 5 lugs. Wheels for either have not been purchased, so they’re not part of the equation. I’ve been told that 6 on 5.5 is stronger/better but not as common.

Question #2: Does anyone else make a floater kit?

Question #3: What knuckle should I go with? YES, everyone says flat top chevy knuckles but nobody says anything about a year. Yes, I did search. By the way I’ll be going which CTN

Chuck the rear FF44 and build a SF 60 with 1.5" 35 splines for less money!
