Hey Guys How Would 29" Swampers Look On My Stock 4x4 Toyota. I Know The Toyotas 4x4 In Those Years Came With 235 75 15.... Or 31 10.5 15....how Much Difference In Hieght Are The 29 Swampers Compare To Say A 31" Street Tire? Or Is A 235 75 15 Tire The Same As A 29" Tire? Any Help Would Be Helpful.

well i cant seem to find a cheap set of 31's. and the 29 are for a pretty good price.

My 31x11.5x15 LTB's were under $100 each. The smaller TSL's were more.

235's are 29" tires.

k so then the are close to the same size as the stock tires. I also heard that 29" swampers are taller then normal 29" tires. Is that true? Also do you guys think 29x8.5x15 will look like shit on my stock 93 toy 4x4.

Nevermind looks, the 31's will be more functional and fit just fine stock. You won't notice much of a difference in performance so why fuck around?

why dont you fit 33's or 35's and be done with it?

For what it's worth, I broke CV axles with 34's and needed a 3 inch body lift to clear them. At only 10.5 wide on the correct rim they really didn't stick out far at all (no rubbing on the fenders at full lock), but I still needed that lift. 31's will fit just fine stock and won't be breaking parts. I think that's a reason not to go bigger.

well i have 31's on my truck now and the work fine. what im gettin after is a could buy some 29 inch swampers or just stay with the 31's. swampers are for a good price so i thought why not. Just was wondering if they would look like shit on my toyota.

So are you worried about looks or functionality? They're both going to "look" aggressive. The 31's will be more functional and are a good match for an otherwise stock truck. The only thing that really comes into play is the cost and that's something you're going to have to deal with on a local level.
